It seems like just about the only use I have for my old scrapbooking materials these days is photographing them. Oy. Once in a while, I take a look at the stuff I accumulated during my scrappin' days (daze?) and can't remember exactly what I used to do with it all! Like all of this embroidery thread. (Oh, and don't for a minute think that this is all of the embroidery thread I have. Oh no. There is TONS of it crammed into a little drawer. TONS I'm telling you.) What on earth did I do with it in my scrapbooks? I certainly don't do any kind of needlework, on paper or fabric. So what was I thinking? One of these days, I will have to go through all this stuff and purge some of it. Again, oy.
I gave bags and bags of crap to my kids' school not too long, and sadly, I still have bags and bags left. Oh well. :) Your colors are so pretty and bright here!
ReplyDeleteI really like the DOF on this. Nice work!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice - very colorful and popping colors.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great color, DoF.. nice post too :)
ReplyDeleteAnd if you're looking to purge, I'd be glad to take these off your hands :) I do needlework (somewhat).
I can't walk into a Michael's or Joann's without gravitating towards yarn and thread. I've learned to resist them, but I just love looking at them! So beautiful, so full of possibilities!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this photograph! You picked the perfect colors and I love how you lined them up! May have to copy! I'm "solving" the oversupply issue by teaching my DDs how to embroider and sew and and and and then they get to use the stuff!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot - love all the colors!
ReplyDeleteFabulous colors! I love to embroider and think you can never have too many yummy colors to play with :)
